Lakme Fashion Week, 2016 threw light on the concept of sustainable fashion. An entire day of the week was dedicated to designers who are trying to make a difference. Yet another season of Lakme Fashion Week ended with the most awaited grand finale at Mehboob studio. What a magnificent show it was. The time I encountered at fashion week was splendid and filled with new experiences as I was attending it for the first time. I somehow managed to fit in though not many people knew who I was, but still I liked how the vibe was super positive. (vibes does it all) The couple of shows that I attended were super amazing.
I had a great time meeting new people. Taking a dose of chill at the terrace with some mad mixes. capturing highlights, Exploring the sustainable fashion and traditional textiles. Going through the stalls of designers and space used to display conceptual art.(best part).
As a blogger now I know how important it is to understand where you stand in the influencer pyramid. Keeping all the facts clear I tried to display a good sense of style with one and only Mr Button. The entire week couldn’t be better without the sharp and versatile looks created by Mr Button. The outfits were styled and directed at GuideShop by the personal stylist based on my style and preference.
LOOK 1 NAVY WHITE
You can either dress it up, or dress it down. The first look is an indisputable classic. Navy blue has become more prevalent in street style, Its versatility is especially appealing to the younger market. You can never go wrong with the combination of two quintessential menswear colors. The thing about a navy blue blazer is it’s equally sharp with a tie or pocket square yet you can pull it off without them if you want to go casual. The Sharp Cut, Modern Design, Classic Tailoring and Balanced Proportions will take you by surprise. It will surely fit you like a glove.
If you are one of the adventurous ones then the driving moccasins will be your best bet. brown will be your color of choice.
PS- If you want to guarantee you look great with accessories – a white or light blue dress shirt and pocket square is a big yes.
LOOK 2 WESTERN FORMALS
We love the Nehru jacket not only for its timelessness and elegance but also for the versatility it offers. Whether it is a typical ethnic dress or classic western formals, with sensible styling, a Nehru jacket can be teamed up with both to add another dimension of style. While we all have our favourite way of wearing the jacket. While I chose to pick this exclusive Nehru Jacket from the GuideShop by Mr Button which absolutely looked amazing after I Paired my classic easy-fitted black semi-formal trouser and white shirt with a complementing Pink Nehru jacket. Button up the jacket and keep your look graceful yet stylish. And don’t forget to wear your driving loafers to complete the look.
LOOK 3 THE WITTY ANDREA LINEN BLAZER
This linen Blazer was my absolute favourite not only because I love grey but also because it is curated with an extra soft & lightweight linen blend from Mr Button . The structured fit this blazer gives is unbeatable. Smart Casual, for effortless panache. The best part about this blazer is It’s neither too skinny nor too loose. Fits perfectly onto your body and shoulders. The tapered sleeves will make you look ultra sharp. The easy fitted white trouser and a printed shirt makes the look easy going with of course your favourite brown tassel driving shoes.
