DASH OF DENIM

As basic as Denim might sound, it’s undoubtedly one of the most versatile fabrics. And the fabric itself offers such a range of variations in color and texture.

And let’s face it, you can get anything made in denim. Pants, joggers, shirts, shoes, jackets, caps, hats, shoes, bags, wallets, neckties, bow-ties, watch straps. You’d even find details of denims say like a pocket on a T-shirt, even sunglasses with the color and texture, that of denim.

And this might sound a bit odd, but there’s something weirdly comforting about having a denim shirt on you in some or the other way. May be it’s the concept of ‘the perfect pair of denims’ or may be because denim is probably the most widely used fabric.

So for me incorporating denims into my outfits is something I really enjoy and look forward to. So today I have assembled an outfit keeping the denim shirt as the focus.

The shirt is a simple slim cut structured shirt. But what I love the most about it is there it’s super breathable since its light cotton fabric, and it has a lovely club collar.

With the styling I went for simple solid elements so keep the denim as the focal point. Grey chinos and white plimsoll shoes! These colors go really well and they don’t need much more to finish the look. A black duffle bag, a rust wrist watch, brown gradient aviators and you’re good to go!

So while styling denim, makes sure the fabric is breathable and season appropriate and preferably go for solid colors!
And while dressing up, do try to add a ‘Dash Of Denim’
