We at Mr Button are sucker for movies. The Hollywood and world movies have always been a huge source of ideas and if not then the sheer fun of cinematic experience is worth a mention at the HQ. Here our resident music and movie buff, points out 6 upcoming movies and the hype around it.

 

MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN:

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is an upcoming 2016 American 3D dark fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton and written by Jane Goldman, based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter and such movies, this is the movie to look out for but it brings a darker element into the picture.

MASTERMINDS:

Masterminds is an upcoming American heist comedy film based on the 1997 Loomis Fargo Robbery in North Carolina, directed by Jared Hess and written by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, and Emily Spivey.

In this action comedy based on true events, David Ghantt (Zach Galifianakis) discovers the true meaning of adventure far beyond his wildest dreams. He is an uncomplicated man stuck in a monotonous life. Day in and day out he drives an armored vehicle, transporting millions of other people’s money with no escape in sight. The only glimmer of excitement is his flirtatious work crush Kelly Campbell (Kristen Wiig) who soon lures him into the scheme of a lifetime.

JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK:

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (previously known as Jack Reacher: Never Look Back) is an upcoming 2016 American action thriller film directed by Edward Zwick and co-written with Richard Wenk and Marshall Herskovitz. It is a sequel to 2012 film Jack Reacher.

Jack Reacher heads back to his old military base in Virginia to take a woman to dinner who is now the commanding officer. By the time he gets there, she has been arrested, and Reacher finds himself being charged with pummeling one guy and fathering a child with a woman. He can’t remember either transgression but gets to the bottom of it with cunning and sometimes brute force.

Release Date: October 21, 2016.

 

DOCTOR STRANGE.

Doctor Strange is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the fourteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Scott Derrickson.

Release Date: November 4, 2016

 

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Set in the time before Harry and his adventures, this is one movie to watch out for.
